An usher has been suspended from Leinster House while an investigation into his online activities, including anti-immigration and far-right posts on social media, continues.

An Oireachtas spokeswoman said today, in response to detailed questions from the Irish Independent: “As you will understand, we do not comment on staffing or security matters.”
