The bodies of two Georgia firefighters who recently ended their relationship were found in Tennessee on Sunday, more than a week after they went missing, officials said.

The Hinesville Police Department confirmed the discovery of Raegan Anderson, 25, and her ex-boyfriend, Chandler Kuhbander, 24, in Cocke County, about 450 miles north of their hometown. Their bodies were found in Anderson’s vehicle.

Kuhbander’s mother, Jane Kuhbander, told Court TV last week that they were together for more than seven years before ending their “toxic” relationship.

As Jane said, Anderson could not come to terms with the end of the relationship and repeatedly threatened to commit suicide.

She said her son went on a date with another woman on June 23, the day before he disappeared, and Anderson allegedly found and scratched his car.

She was arrested for the crime and later released on bail. Anderson believed she would likely lose her job with the fire department and expressed her growing concerns to Kuhbander.

The next day, Kuhbander went to a workout at Crunch Fitness in Savannah, Georgia, and later planned to attend his younger sister’s birthday party.

Surveillance cameras show Anderson repeatedly circling the parking lot while he was inside, the mother said.

As you can see in the video, he eventually left the gym and headed to his car.

But the mother claims the man got into her 2017 Ford Focus “under duress” – and has not been heard from since.

Before the bodies were discovered, she told the station that Anderson was not in the right “state of mind” and wrote a suicide note to her son the day before they disappeared.

In a Facebook post, she described Anderson as “a danger to herself and (her son) is believed to be not with her of his own free will.”

Despite the breakup, Kuhbander continued to try to comfort Anderson, but at times had to ask her to stop harassing him.

“He’s very determined to do the right thing and make sure people are safe,” she told Court TV. “He really cares about Raegan.”

A few days later, they were both found dead.

Autopsies on the Liberty County firefighters will be performed to determine the cause of their deaths.

“Details regarding the discovery of their bodies, the vehicle and the events leading up to their deaths are not available at this time,” police said after the bodies were found.

Kuhbander’s distraught sister posted a tribute to her sibling on Facebook.

“I’m trying to find the words to say goodbye, but I can’t. The thought of you not being here is tearing me apart. I never thought in my life that I would have to live without you,” she wrote. “It’s always been my two big brothers, but now it’s just me and Xander. We will honor you in every way we can. No one will ever know who you are or what a good person you are. I love you forever, my love.”
