Wimbledon Royal Box Guest List: All the Stars, From David Attenborough to David Beckham

Wimbledon has opened its gates and the Royal Box is already packed with a star-studded guest list that includes sports stars, actors and presenters.

Emma Raducanu and defending men’s champion Carlos Alcaraz are the highlights of the opening day at the All England Club, while Andy Murray will decide tonight whether to play singles after undergoing pre-tournament surgery to remove a spinal cyst.

The 37-year-old said he wanted to “feel the buzz” on Center Court one last time and retire before retiring.

Above the mingling crowds, fans can expect to see a few famous faces over the next two weeks. Each year, the Royal Box is a focal point for celebrity events, as was the case last year when American singer Ariana Grande sent fans into a frenzy when she appeared at the men’s singles final without a wedding ring. Last year’s men’s singles final attracted a top-tier crowd that included Ian McKellen, Nick Jonas, Maggie Smith, Daniel Craig, Andrew Garfield, Stormzy and the Prince and Princess of Wales.
