A baby’s face displaying the pure satisfaction of a job well done – and a little punch for good measure – has become one of the biggest memes in web history.

Whenever someone did something good or something good happened – like passing a driving test or your takeout arrived – Success Kid’s chubby little face was there, ready to be unleashed.

But what does Sammy Griner, the boy with one of the most recognizable faces in the world, look like now?

Well, he was 11 months old when the legendary photo was taken and now Sammy is an eight-year-old little boy:

His mother Laney, who took the now-infamous photo in 2007, posted the updated photo of her son as he looks today on Imgur.

And she revealed he used his fame to help raise £70,000 for his dad Justin, 39, for his father’s kidney transplant operation last year.

Speaking about her son’s internet fame, Laney said Buzzfeed:”He’s been that meme for as long as he can remember.

“But it also often embarrasses him.”

He has a whole life ahead of him with that!
