A man accused of punching a woman in the face during a Pride Parade and anti-Israel event surrendered to police on Monday, authorities said.

Video footage posted on social media allegedly shows 52-year-old Jonathan Kaye punching a woman who falls to the sidewalk as he flees the scene following a Brooklyn Pride event on June 8.

He was arrested and charged with third-degree assault, third-degree menacing and second-degree harassment, the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office said. A spokesperson for the District Attorney’s Office told Fox News Digital that Kaye turned himself in to police.

The woman, who identified herself as Micah P, told NBC New York the punch broke her nose in four places.

“When we saw him walk by, we immediately, like, turned to each other and said, ‘Don’t get into a discussion with that guy. He looks drunk or unstable or something,'” she told the news agency. “He seemed very angry as he walked by.”

Kaye allegedly called them “useful idiots” and continued down the street until she asked him what he said.

He then turned and began walking toward the victim, who said he had doused Kaye with water. The swing drew shocked gasps from onlookers.

According to a Fox News Digital source, a group of protesters initiated the fight after Kaye, who is Jewish, claimed they were on the “wrong side” of an anti-Israel protest.

Four people from the group, which the source described as either “Queers for Palestine” or “Trans for Palestine,” allegedly surrounded Kaye after he spoke.

They began throwing “red liquid” at him as he tried to move away from them, according to the source. Photos of his clothes show stains and a bloody leg wound.

According to the source, Kaye landed on the ground, bleeding from his leg.

“Mr. Kaye, a middle-aged Jewish man with no history of violence or aggression, was intimidated, attacked, and surrounded by a group of unruly anti-Semitic protesters,” Danya Perry, Kaye’s attorney, said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “What the previously released video clip does not show, other video footage and other evidence we shared with the District Attorney shows: that these protesters formed a circle around him, doused him with two unknown liquids, pushed him to the ground, and hurled anti-Semitic slurs at him. Terrified and injured, Mr. Kaye was able to act in self-defense to escape the situation and return safely to his family.”

At the time of the alleged attack, Kaye was employed by Moelis & Co., a Manhattan investment bank, where he served as a managing director.

The source said Kaye suffered a leg injury in the fall, which left a long, bloody scratch. (Obtained by Fox News Digital)

“As previously reported, Jonathan Kaye has resigned and is no longer with the company,” a Moelis spokesperson told Fox News Digital.
