Mirabel Banned from Casita, Meet and Greet Location Suspended at Disney

Mirabel Madrigal was kicked out of her Magic Kingdom casino.

Last September, Merida was moved from her Magic Kingdom hangout to make room for Mirabel. Disney transformed the hangout to look like the courtyard outside Casa Madrigal, where Mirabel would hangout.

Now, it appears that Mirabel has been moved from her original meet and greet spot to the gazebo in Liberty Square behind Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe. Although Mirabel no longer meets at her usual spot, for unknown reasons, My Disney Experience has not yet reflected the change to the new meet and greet spot, which may be confusing to guests.

Merida has been moved to this gazebo, but she is not currently on the meet and greet characters list.

It is unclear how long Mirabel will remain in her new location, but it is likely that she will eventually return to Fairytale Garden.

One of the meet and greet characters that was recently permanently removed was Tinker Bell. Tinker Bell hung out with Mickey Mouse and Mickey Mouse at the Magic Kingdom at the Town Square Theater. Although Tink never returned after the pandemic, just a few months ago Disney removed all of her meet and greet signage, replacing it entirely with Mickey Mouse. Now you can see Tinker Bell in the Festival of Fantasy parade or see her fly out of Cinderella’s Castle during Happily Ever After, but you can’t meet her at Walt Disney World Resort.

There’s always a chance he’ll pop out for an unscheduled hangout at the parks. However, for now, this is not a character you can regularly encounter.
