AC Milan wants to sign Emerson Royal

There are still many reports of Emerson’s planned transfer to Milan, although at the moment it does not seem to be imminent or inevitable.

Last week, Gazzetta dello Sport suggested the Rossoneri were still hopeful of completing a deal for the 25-year-old, who is redundant at Spurs.

The report adds that while Tottenham value the Brazilian at around €20m (£17m), there is a belief among San Siro officials that an offer of around €18m (£15.2m) would be enough to complete the deal.

Trippier offered to AC Milan

ASRomaLive claims that Newcastle have offered Milan the option of removing Trippier from their squad.

The report claims that the Magpies are ready to cash in on the England star after his form dipped last season and they believe there is an opportunity to move him to AC Milan.

However, Paulo Fonseca’s men have reportedly turned down the chance to sign the former Spurs man as they hope to finalise a deal with Emerson.

Emerson appears to be Milan’s main target for a right-back, but the club are stalling and considering other alternatives in a bid to persuade Spurs to lower their asking price.

I would not be surprised if this transaction were to close quickly, within the next week or two.
