6-year-old boy raises money for animal shelters

PADUCAH — If you missed the dog walking forecast, here’s some more pet news!

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 1, Eli’s “Mutt” Lemonade Stand in Cracken County is raising money for the McCracken County Humane Society and the McGangsters. The stand is located at 2909 Lone Oak Road, between the fireworks stand and the World Wine and Spirits stand.

Eli is 6 years old and raised over $600 for the Humane Society through his previous booth.

The booth accepts cash, dog/cat food, and Venmo, @sarah-farris02. Stay cool this summer and support local shelters!
