Xbox Live experienced a major outage Tuesday. Downdetector, a platform that tracks such online issues, found that more than 30,000 users had reported the issues. Gamers around the world said they were dealing with the 0x87dd0033 login error. “We’re aware that some users have been disconnected from Xbox Live. We’re investigating! Please follow here and our status page for updates,” the company originally said on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

While the platform is down, many users have been asking when the Live Core servers will be back online. In an update, Xbox said, “Our investigation is taking longer than expected, thank you for your patience and reports! We will continue to provide updates here and on our status page.”

It later thanked users for their patience. On the Xbox support page, the company wrote: “You may be unable to sign in to your Xbox profile, may be disconnected while signing in, or experience other related issues. Features that require sign-in, such as most games, apps, and social activities, will not be available.”

Xbox has not yet provided an exact timeline.

Meanwhile, gamers have posted hilarious reactions to the outage. “The ONE day I actually wanted to sit down and play, the Xbox servers were down,” one person wrote on Twitter.

“Sit down to play on Xbox and the servers are down. Can’t even log in and play offline,” added another.

“Checking Twitter to make sure Xbox Live is down for everyone, and it’s not just me,” a third person tweeted.
