Man now in prison, faces six more charges of child rape

Fulton County, Arkansas – A man already incarcerated on rape charges has added six new counts of rape of a minor. Those incidents occurred in Fulton County.

According to a probable cause statement, a 12-year-old female came to the Mammoth Spring Police Department and told officers that Terry Long, 65, of Ash Flat, had raped her six times, maybe more. She said Long offered to take her fishing at Mammoth Spring State Park and led her into the woods where the incidents allegedly occurred. This all happened in the spring of 2022. In connection with these latest allegations, Long now faces six more rape charges.

Long is currently being held at Sharp County Jail on prior charges including four counts of rape and one count of distributing, possessing or viewing material depicting explicit conduct involving a child. His bail was set at $3,635,000.
