Two San Francisco police motorcyclists injured in head-on collision in Potrero Hill neighborhood

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — Two San Francisco motorcycle police officers were injured in a head-on collision Tuesday evening in the Potrero Hill neighborhood.

Video from the scene shows officers being loaded into an ambulance at the intersection of Cesar Chavez and Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police told ABC7 News that initial information indicates a speeding driver hit the officers.

Both the officers and the driver were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
