Missouri Attorney General Files Lawsuit Against New York State Over Trump Lawsuit – Newstalk KZRG

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey recently filed a lawsuit against the state of New York over legal actions taken against Donald Trump.

Bailey said: “The Founding Fathers anticipated that there would be disputes among the states. Article 3, Section 2 of the United States Constitution codifies the method by which we will remedy these grievances. You can appeal directly to the U.S. Supreme Court. This is an original Rule 3 action in the U.S. Supreme Court, Missouri v. New York, seeking to stop an unlawful gag order that a prosecutor and judge imposed on President Trump so that we could hear his views. And to prevent him from being sentenced to prison, so that he can continue his election campaign, and we can actually participate and get involved in these presidential elections.”
