The Honolulu Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating four men wanted in connection with the alleged shooting Sunday morning of a 15-year-old boy in Waianae.

On Sunday, at around 9:25 a.m., four unknown men stopped in a car in front of a 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl who were walking on Ala Akau Street. They then reportedly got out and chased the 15-year-old boy and the 16-year-old girl.

“One or more male suspects shot the victim, causing multiple gunshot wounds,” according to a CrimeStoppers news release.

A bullet entered and exited the boy’s arm, fracturing his elbow. A second bullet entered and exited the boy’s calf.

The suspects fled “in a light gray Toyota Camry driven by an unknown suspect,” police said.

The 15-year-old was treated and transported in serious condition to the emergency room by city emergency medical service technicians.

The first unknown man was seen shirtless, wearing blue shorts and brown shoes. The second man was wearing a black shirt, gray shorts and black shoes.

The third man wanted by police was wearing a white shirt, black and white pants, a face mask and black and white shoes.
