The Natural Resources and Energy Law Foundation (NREL), formerly known as the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation, is proud to award scholarships to three exceptional students from the School of Law’s Class of 2025. CK Ellwood, Aiden Kneller, and Vanessa Springer were selected from a rigorous selection process that included more than 100 applicants. Vanessa Springer was honored with a Diversity Outreach Scholarship and the prestigious David P. Phillips Award, an honor given annually to one outstanding student.

Reed Benson, NREL program director, expressed his delight, stating, “Top students from many institutions compete for these scholarships, and it is truly gratifying to see these three deserving Lobos recognized by the Foundation.”
