Former GAA president expects Clare and Kilkenny to fight until the last minute

The former All-Ireland winner from Kilkenny expects the competition this weekend to go down to the wire.

Banner and Cats will meet at this stage of the competition for the third time in a row, with Kilkenny the previous winners.

This will be the first meeting between the teams since the National Hurling League final in April, in which Clare won their first trophy under Brian Lohan.

Former GAA president Nickey Brennan believes both teams will have a slight advantage.
