CISF cop Kulwinder Kaur, suspended for slapping Kangana Ranaut, transferred to Bengaluru – Firstpost

Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) police officer Kulwinder Kaur, who was suspended after she allegedly slapped actress and MP Kangana Ranaut on June 6 at the Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport in Chandigarh, has been transferred to Bengaluru. Manikarnika star travelled to New Delhi days after winning the Lok Sabha elections from Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh.

Kulwinder is reportedly still suspended and has been transferred to the CISF reserve battalion in Bengaluru.

Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), Ranaut shared a video and revealed that the guard slapped the actress in the face and hurled abuses at her. “When I asked her the reason, she said she supported the farmers’ protest.”

“I am getting a lot of calls from media as well as well-wishers. First of all, I am safe, I am fine. The incident that happened today at Chandigarh airport took place during the security check. As soon as I came out after the security check, a woman from the other cabin, a CISF security guard, came from the side, slapped me on the face and started abusing me. When I asked her why she did it, she said she was supporting the farmers’ protest. I am safe, but I am worried about the terrorism and extremism that is on the rise in Punjab,” she said in the video.

However, music composer-singer Vishal Dadlani supported CISF guard Kulwinder Kaur who slammed the actress and wrote, “I never support violence but I absolutely understand the need for @official_cisf personnel’s anger. If CISF takes any action against her, I will provide her a job if she decides to accept it. Jai Hind. Jai Jawaan. Jai Kisaan.”
