Share the joy, traditions and stories of your holidays with a high school student from abroad

ASSE International Student Exchange Programs (ASSE), a nonprofit organization dedicated to the public good, invites American families to discover the many benefits of hosting international exchange students.

ASSE exchange students come from over 50 countries around the world, including Italy, France, Spain, Brazil, and Thailand. They are between 15 and 18 years old and are eager to learn about American culture, family life, school, sports, and more. They also enjoy sharing their own culture and language with their host families, who open their homes to them as if they were members of their own families. This provides a rich cultural experience for all involved.

Host families can be single parents, couples or single individuals. Exchange students arrive with an allowance for personal expenses and full health, accident and liability insurance. ASSE students are selected based on their academic and personal qualities, and host families select their students from a wide range of backgrounds, nations and interests.

Those interested in hosting an exchange student this fall should contact Saphia Lesch at 1-800-736-1760, visit www.asse.com or email [email protected] to learn more or begin the application process. Students are eager to learn more about their American host family, so start the process of welcoming your new son or daughter today. The memories and friendships you make with your exchange student will be cherished forever.
