The Golden State Warriors are reportedly in “serious talks” about a sign-and-trade deal to acquire Buddy Hield, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Hield is a free agent, but the Warriors are in “deep talks” to finalize a deal with the Philadelphia 76ers to bring the shooting guard to Golden State.

Hield, who has shot 40 percent from three-point range in his career, would be the perfect replacement for Klay Thompson, who signed a three-year, $50 million contract extension with the Dallas Mavericks.
