OPP investigates serious collision in Rockland

Investigation underway after serious accident in Rockland.

The Russell County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment responded to a report of a collision at the intersection of County Road 17 and Edwards Street shortly after 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2.

Prescott-Russell Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Clarence-Rockland Fire Services also responded to the scene where a white delivery van collided with a black passenger car.

Three occupants of the black car were taken to hospital by ambulance with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The truck driver was provided with assistance at the scene.
