Woman arrested in connection with fatal Leon County traffic crash

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A woman has been charged in connection with a fatal crash last week.

Nancy Williams, 62, was arrested Tuesday afternoon and faces two felony counts of leaving the scene of a crash, according to the Leon County Sheriff’s Office. They include:

  • Will not remain at the scene of the accident where death occurred
  • Failure to stop at the scene of an accident where injuries occurred

LCSO confirmed her charges are related to a crash on Bannerman Road that killed a man Thursday. A portion of Bannerman Road near Blue Smoke Drive was closed for about four hours that day while officers investigated the scene.

Williams is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday morning, according to court documents.
