A tiny “mischievous” kitten from Invergordon was saved by everyday heroes after becoming stuck in a tree.

The small cat was spotted in a fairly large tree near Delny in Invergordon at around 9am this morning (4th July).

At 9.20am, Invergordon firefighters were at the scene with a three-section, short extension ladder to help bring the cat back to solid ground.

Invergordon Fire Station shared the story on their Twitter account (X), where the beautiful kitten has brightened up many people’s days.

They said: “A second pump was mobilised to a naughty kitten stuck in a tree near Delna. The crew used a three-section short ladder to safely extract the kitten.”

One comment highlighted the post: “Not all heroes wear capes!”
