JDC Students Participate in Program at Ole Miss – Prentiss Headlight

Two Jefferson Davis County Middle School students spent a week at Ole Miss University as part of a college preparatory program called Ethical U.

Kaidyn Barnes and Ahmari Braddy have been selected to compete in the show from June 16-21.

Ethical U is a one-week summer learning program offered by the Department of Graduate Studies at the University of Mississippi.

He focused on ethical reasoning and questioning and sought to encourage students to think about current social and political issues in a constructive and thought-provoking way.

The program aims to help students develop thinking skills and improve their leadership skills. Students will use real-life scenarios to seek answers to important questions.

The program coordinator at the University of Mississippi is Yolanda Acey.

“These students enjoyed interacting with other students with different views,” Kelsea Brown said. “It was a great opportunity for them to experience that,” she said.
