Fayetteville Fire Department is recruiting certified firefighters

The Fayetteville Fire Department will begin accepting applications July 7-19 for certified firefighters and emergency management technician (EMT) firefighters.

Individuals who currently hold both North Carolina Firefighter and EMT certifications are eligible to apply during this application period. Applicants with at least two years of full-time fire service experience and currently employed by a city fire department may be eligible for the Fayetteville Fire Department Lateral Entry Program.

The starting salary for both positions is:

• Certified Firefighter/Paramedic – $46,700
• Side Entry Firefighter/Paramedic – $46,700 to $52,310 (depending on qualifications).
