Central Alberta RCMP Mounted Police Investigate Serious Attack

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in connection with a serious attack that occurred in central Alberta last month.

On June 17, 2024, Wetaskiwin RCMP Mounted Police received a report of an assault that had occurred at a residence on 54 Street in Wetaskiwin.

Police say the victim, a 26-year-old Maskwacis man, was taken to hospital by STARS with serious injuries. RCMP say their investigation revealed the victim had a confrontation with the suspect, during which the suspect struck the victim with multiple implements, causing serious injuries.
