86-year-old Victorville woman dies after June 12 crash – VVNG.com

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — 86-year-old Victorville resident Evangeline Loredo died from injuries suffered in a single-vehicle crash on June 12, 2024.

Loredo was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a 75-year-old man, according to sheriff’s spokeswoman Mary Rodriguez.

Rodriguez said the crash happened at the intersection of Luna Road and Amargosa Road. While trying to make a left turn from Luna onto Amargosa, the driver struck a block wall.

Both Loredo and the driver were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

“We have no information on the man’s health condition or whether he has been discharged from the hospital,” Rodriguez said.

According to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office, Evangeline died June 28 at Loma Linda University Medical Center. The cause of death was a traffic accident.
