The Thackerville Police Department was notified on June 10 that Parker had taken a firearm from the property while on the scene on April 3 and never reported it. Authorities say Parker later transported the firearm to his residence.

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations (OSBI), the Thackerville Police Department requested assistance from the OSBI on June 13 to investigate a stolen firearm.

After OSBI agents gathered evidence and information, Parker was arrested and booked into the Love County Jail.

The OSBI says the investigation is still ongoing.
