Missing 3-year-old girl reported from Georgia, last seen in KCMO

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A missing persons alert issued in Georgia now extends to Kansas City, Missouri.

Missouri State Highway Patrol officials said the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office issued a warning for 3-year-old Zaryiah Storto-Shell, considering her an endangered individual.

The missing girl was last seen with 34-year-old Rahim Mims, who is 165 cm tall and weighs 61 kg.

MSHP said Mims was driving a black 2007 Ford Explorer with Missouri license plate JK8X7t. The vehicle was last seen at the QuikTrip at 6551 E. Front Street in Kansas City, Mo. on July 3.

Storto-Shell is 3 years old and has black hair. She was last seen wearing a light brown t-shirt with the word “love” written on it and a white flower, and blue jean shorts. She has pink beads in her hair.

MSHP reported that after the child’s release was approved by the mother, the suspect did not return the child.

Anyone who has seen the missing person, suspect, associate or vehicle, or has any information regarding a missing person should immediately call 911 to reach the nearest law enforcement agency or contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500.
