4-year-old girl dies after being left unattended in northwest Houston vehicle, police say

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — The body of a 4-year-old girl was found inside a vehicle on the city’s northwest side Wednesday evening, the Houston Police Department said.

The scene takes place in the 6500 block of Hollister, HPD and is shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Police said a 4-year-old girl was found unattended in the vehicle. She was taken to a hospital where she reportedly died.

An investigation is underway into this matter.
