A Silver Alert has been issued in connection with the disappearance of an 83-year-old man from Kokomo.

KOKOMO — Indiana State Police and the Kokomo Police Department are searching for a missing 83-year-old man who may need medical attention.

James Umbarger is described as 5’10” and 130 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He drives a white with a blue roof 2000 Cadillac Deville with Indiana license plate UWJ534.

He went missing from Kokomo, Indiana, which is 50 miles north of Indianapolis. He was last seen July 4 at 2:00 p.m.

Umbarger is believed to be in serious danger.
