They’re not just there to beautify the place or, god forbid, to recruit. No, they’re part of the Mewmew Officer Medal challenges. If you can find them all and complete the tasks, you’ll earn a ton of rewards that will help you keep your energy up and get the best characters in Ground Zero without Zen.

Here’s how to complete all the Knight Spirit Medal challenges in ZZZ.

What are Knight Spirit Medals in Zenless Zone Zero?

Around level 15 you can team up with Officer Mewmew and take on his side missions Ground Zero without Zen. These usually involve fixing a broken Bangboo or helping Bangboo “solve his problems” around Sixth Street. As a thank you, he gives you one of his medals, as well as other gadgets like Polychrome and Denny.

The challenge is to find a Bangboo that matches the name, which are often hiding behind a trash can or just around the corner. Once you find and talk to a Bangboo, return to Officer Mewmew to collect your rewards. A red notification bubble will appear on completed medals, letting you know they are ready to be collected.

How to help Thesis Bangboo solve the problem to get Knight Spirit Medal 1 in Zenless Ground Zero

To find Thesis Bangboo in Ground Zero without Zen, turn left past the Ramen Shop and keep going straight along this narrow road until you notice the white Bangboo with glasses to your right. He’s having trouble remembering the name of the book his master gave him.

After speaking with him, you receive 50 Inter-Knot Credits, five Polychrome, one Senior Investigator Log, two W-Engine Power Supply, and 2,500 Denny. Your answers don’t really matter.

Once the conversation is over, return to Officer Mewmew to collect the Chilvarious Spirit Medal One and additional rewards: 10 Polychrome, one W-Engine Power Supply, and 5000 Denny.

How to help One-Dennyboo solve his problem to get Knight Spirit Medal 2 in Zenless Ground Zero

To find One-Dennyboo, check out Howl’s lottery stand in the evening. There, just before Officer Mewmew, you’ll find One-Dennyboo in Ground Zero without Zen. This Bangboo is in financial trouble. Pet him and agree to give him some Dennies to receive the following rewards: 50 Inter-Knot Credits, five Polychrome, one Senior Investigator Log, two W-Engine Power Supply, and 2,500 Denny.

Speak to Officer Mewmew behind you to receive the Chivalrous Spirit Two medal. You will also receive 10 Polychrome, two Official Investigator Logs, and 5000 Denny.

How to help Muahaha Bangboo solve the problem to get Knight Spirit Medal 3 in Zenless Zone Zero

To find Muahaha Bangboo in Ground Zero without Zen, look for the Bangboo paper bag on the right side of the Remodeling Shop. This Bangboo is fascinated by Boollseye.

After speaking with him, you will receive your rewards regardless of whether you fled or chose to stay: 50 Inter-Knot Credits, five Polychrome, one Senior Investigator’s Journal, two W-Engine Power Supplies, and 2,500 Denny.

Report to Officer Mewmew to receive a Knight Spirit Medal, three and 10 Polychrome, one W-Engine Power Pack, and 5000 Denny.

How to help Gourmetboo solve his problem to get Knight Spirit Medal 4 in Zenless Ground Zero

To find Gourmetboo in Ground Zero without Zen, walk past the Coffee Shop and look out for the two Bangboos in hoodies on the corner. One of them is Gourmetboo, which talks about charging stations.

To complete this challenge, eavesdrop on their conversation and collect your rewards: 50 Inter-Knot Credits, five Polychrome, one Senior Investigator Log, two W-Engine Power Supply, and 2,500 Denny. Then return to Officer Mewmew to collect the Chivalrous Spirit Medal Four and 10 Polychrome, one W-Engine Power Supply, and 5,000 Denny.
