Kyle and Hit-Boy Team Up for ‘Dirty’

I didn’t see this collaboration coming.

Kyle and Hit-Boy are both from California, but they represent different sides of the state. Kyle’s music often evokes Disney, while Hit-Boy’s sound is more tied to the urban side of California.

Today, a new single featuring Kyle and Hit-Boy called “Dirty” hit streaming services. Surprisingly, their chemistry on the track is excellent.

In “Dirty,” Kyle and Hit-Boy confront women who play games in their relationships, making it clear that they can be petty if necessary. The track features a sleek hip-hop beat that complements Kyle’s smooth vocals on the chorus and his laid-back raps, while Hit-Boy’s confrontational verse really stands out. After listening to it, I wouldn’t mind a collaboration album between these two.
