Yakima firefighters respond to new fire on Keys Road

YAKIMA, Wash. – Yakima firefighters are responding to a new fire on Keys Road in Sportsman State Park.

According to a Facebook post by Yakima Valley Emergency Management, the fire does not pose a threat to homes, but Sportsman State Park is closed to the public.

This is the second fire Yakima firefighters have responded to in the area. A 21-acre blaze prompted a Level 3 (GO NOW) evacuation on June 21.
