Atmore Prison Correctional Officer Arrested : NorthEscambia.com

An officer was arrested Wednesday at Fountain Correctional Facility in Atmore.

The Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC) Division of Law Enforcement Services arrested 32-year-old Shaquasia La’Sha Craig. She was booked into the Escambia County (AL) Jail on a charge of promoting prison contraband in the third degree.

According to the indictment, Craig was caught in possession of 50 Black and Mild cigars and two bottles of Gatorade, which contained alcohol.

ADOC announced that she had been relieved of her position.
