Robbie Williams ‘turned down’ chance to date Beyoncé

Robbie Williams allegedly ‘turned down’ Beyoncé’s date offer.

The 50-year-old appears to have had the opportunity to date Queen Bey in 1998.

His long-time collaborator Guy Chambers claims she flirted with Robbie when they met on Top of the Pops.

However, she claims that the English singer rejected her for one reason.

On the I Never Thought It Would Happen podcast, Guy said: “When I finally got on Top Of The Pops with Robbie, that was a really big moment. That was in 1998.

“I remember Destiny’s Child. And I remember Beyoncé. She was incredibly young then.

“I remember her peering out the dressing room door, along with the other two, flirting with Rob, trying to get his attention.

“He said, ‘Oh, she’s too young. I’m not going there.'”

Guy and Robbie have collaborated on a number of hugely popular singles, including the hits Let Me Entertain You and Rock DJ.

However, he denied rumors about a possible collaboration between the two artists in the future.

“There is no chance of this happening” he said.
