3-Year-Old Watches Dad’s Interrogation on TV, Has the Best Reaction

3-year-old shocks the internet with her reaction to her father’s words The X Factor interrogation from 16 years ago.

Eoghan Quiqq (@eoghanquigg) first auditioned for the UK version of the popular musical talent show in 2008, aged 15. Quigg showed up to the audition with a period hairstyle that his daughter disapproved of.

“I don’t like daddy’s hair like this. Jesus Louise, I don’t like it,” Emmy Belle, 3, said as she watched her dad sing Eric Clapton’s “Tears in Heaven” to judges Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh in the TikTok video, which has racked up 865,700 views and 23,200 likes.

The teenager finished third, behind boy band JLS and winner Alexandra Burke.

“Everyone used to love that hair,” Quigg, 31, said Newsweek.

“Emmy is the most beautiful, caring, funny, brutally honest little girl. She says it like she sees it and I absolutely love that about her,” added Quigg, who lives in Londonderry, Northern Ireland.

“It was really nice to watch, it’s hard to believe how quickly life goes by. It seems like not so long ago that I was performing on stage and now I have my own children and I’m a father,” Quigg said.

The video shows Emmy staring at the TV screen with great concentration.

“What is daddy nervous about?” she asked when her father appeared. Her mother Amy Campbell explained that he was nervous because he was supposed to sing.

“That’s not Dad,” she said after a moment of silence. “That’s your dad when he was little,” Campbell explained.

After a moment of confusion, the 3-year-old finally stated, “I don’t like this daddy.”

Even Betty the dog, according to Emmy, wasn’t a fan of the performance.

The cheeky girl then left the room and made a sarcastic remark about her father’s hair before defiantly closing the door.

“I have so many fond memories of my time spent at The X Factorfrom being mentored by Simon Cowell, to meeting Beyoncé and singing with Boyzone.

“It really gave me a boost in life because now I can do a lot of things that I love.

“We’re a family of six so life can get busy at times but I wouldn’t want it any other way. I love being a dad, it’s the best thing in the world,” Quigg said.

The musician and radio presenter is also father to Cooper, 10, Milla, 9, and Camden, 1.

Some online commenters were transported back to the golden age of television talent shows and recalled their youthful loves.

“In my head, Eoghan Quigg is still a teenager. He’s Jeez Louise to me, I loved that hair,” Gemma said.

“STOP. I forgot about you. I had like 5 posters of you in my bedroom and then I met you in Butlins. MY DEAR WX FACTOR,” Courtney Copsey said.

“Did Simon give her directions? She’s lovely and honest,” Lulu said.

Eoghan replied: “She’s stricter than Simon.”
