Saugerties man accused of sexually abusing 6-year-old – Daily Freeman

SAUGERTIES, N.Y. — A man was arrested Tuesday in connection with an investigation into sexual contact with a 6-year-old child, according to Saugerties police.

Ian C. Welling, 42, of West Camp, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday and charged with a felony of sexual assault and misdemeanor counts of gross touching and endangering a child.

Welling was processed at Central Pretrial Detention and placed in the Ulster County Jail on bail set at $50,000 cash, $100,000 secured bond or $300,000 partially secured bond.
