Girl, 10, dies from gunshot wound: Cleveland police

CLEVELAND (WJW) – Cleveland police are investigating the death of a 10-year-old girl from a gunshot wound, the FOX 8 I-Team learned Thursday evening.

Cleveland police were called to a report of shots fired in the 3200 block of West 125th Street just after 7 p.m.

When they arrived, officers found a 10-year-old girl with a gunshot wound. Officers began administering first aid at the scene and the child was taken to hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting; the case remains under investigation.
