Students at the Children’s Educational Garden learn about entomology

On Tuesday, June 25, the children learned about insects from Master Gardener Susan Felten. Later, Master Gardener Jessie Moore showed the children how to make butterflies out of clothespins, cupcake liners, pipe cleaners, and googly eyes. In the garden, the children gathered squash, zucchini, cucumbers, peppers, radishes, peas, and onions.It was an evening full of excitement and fun. Photo provided by Melinda Oswald
