The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday that three people have been arrested in connection with the brutal attack that occurred on June 26:

  • Aryianna Pillatzki, 20, from Pennock
  • David Pillatzki, 48, from Arco
  • Tre Ertl, 26, from Litchfield

Aryianna Pillatzki was arrested for second-degree assault and aggravated robbery. David Pillatzki was arrested for aggravated robbery and being responsible for crimes committed by another person. Ertl was arrested for attempted murder and aggravated robbery.

Authorities say all three are expected to appear in court in the coming days. Aryianna Pillatzki is the only suspect whose mugshot has been uploaded to the jail registry.

As previously reported, the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a man had been found along the roadway on 600th Avenue near 230th Street in Litchfield Township. When officers arrived, they found a 50-year-old man lying in a ditch with a stab wound and injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle. He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

On Thursday, authorities said three suspects brought the victim to a secluded area to rob him. He was hit by a car, then stabbed and left on the side of the road, authorities said.

A passerby found the victim and called for help.
