The Los Angeles Superior Court ruling dissolved their marriage of nearly three years, six months after the 30-year-old pop star filed for divorce from the 28-year-old real estate broker.

According to court documents, the couple split more than a year ago. They had a prenuptial agreement, no children and no major legal disputes over the split, allowing for a quick and clean transition through the court system.

The terms of the settlement were agreed in October, so it only needed to wait the required six months before the judge’s order could go into effect.

Under the agreement, Grande will make a lump sum payment of $1.25 million (£1 million) to Gomez, give him half the proceeds of the sale of their Los Angeles home and pay up to $25,000 (£19,700) towards his legal costs.

Meanwhile, Grande’s new partner, after filing for divorce in July 2023, is still married to Lilly Jay, with whom she has a 1-year-old son.

According to Us Weekly, they are “still in the mediation phase.”
