Coldplay reaches major milestone with ongoing trial against former manager

Coldplay’s new album “Moon Music” is scheduled for release on October 4, 2024.

Coldplay settle long-running lawsuit with former manager: Reports

Coldplay have reached a settlement with their former manager Dave Holmes, ending a long-running legal battle, according to sources.

The legal case, which involved allegations of unpaid fees and breach of contract, has apparently been settled for an estimated multi-million pound sum.

Cold game was originally sued by Holmes in 2022, in which he claimed the team owed him a significant amount of money for management services. Holmes sought more than $12 million in damages, claiming he was not compensated for his contributions to the team’s success.

In the period preceding the settlement, both Cold game and Holmes reportedly kept the negotiations under wraps, with neither side commenting publicly. The settlement of the lawsuit now allows both sides to move forward without the shadow of legal wrangling.

The legal troubles began after the band and Holmes parted ways in 2021. Holmes claimed he had a contract that entitled him to a share of the band’s revenue and that Cold game violated this agreement.

On the other hand, team representatives argued that Holmes was adequately compensated for his services and that the claims were unfounded.

Despite the legal argument, Cold game continued to work on new music and plan future tours, including an extension of the Music Of The Spheres World Tour this year. Their new album Moon musicfalls on October 4, 2024.
