Singer arrested in Rhodes over alleged assault

Police on the island of Rhodes have arrested a famous singer after he allegedly assaulted the wife of a local businessman in a restaurant.

According to reports, the 43-year-old singer was performing at the venue early Friday morning when he allegedly made offensive remarks to a 32-year-old woman. After his performance, he allegedly approached her, verbally abused her and pushed her into a chair, causing scratches and bruises. The woman’s husband intervened and stopped the singer, who continued to verbally attack both women as they left.
